The first edition of Tech4Eva has proved to be a huge success. Tech4Eva is the result of a partnership launched on 8 March between Groupe Mutuel and the EPFL Innovation Park to promote new technologies and solutions for women's health. It will celebrate the end of its first edition tomorrow with an online conference.

Groupe Mutuel Prévoyance (GMP) and Mutuelle Valaisanne de Prévoyance (MVP) confirmed their merger yesterday evening. This merger gives a new dimension to Groupe Mutuel Prévoyance, which provides insurance for 2,700 companies and has more than CHF 2 billion in assets under management.

The Board of Groupe Mutuel has appointed Mr Florian Raemy as financial director (CFO) of Groupe Mutuel. He will replace Mr Samuel Marchetti who died suddenly last spring. Aged 45 and born in Zurich, Mr Florian Raemy is an expert in finance, which led him to hold various high-level positions in different contexts.

2015 was a good year for Groupe Mutuel. The number of insured members increased by 34,987 to reach 1,227,332 as at 1 January 2016 (+2.9%). The turnover in health insurance activities increased by 5.6% to reach CHF 4.99 billion. However, due to increasing health costs, low returns in financial markets and adjustments to a number of private supplemental Insurance rates (LCA/VVG), the overall result in health insurance activities was CHF -127.2 million. Within corporate and life insurance activities, business development was successful, which led to excellent results.

Il combine le conseil téléphonique préalable (télémédecine) et le médecin de premier recours (MPR). Les conseils téléphoniques sont fournis par le call-center médical «Medi24» avec lequel le Groupe Mutuel collabore depuis plusieurs années. Ce nouveau modèle entrera en vigueur au 1er janvier 2016.

Fondée en 1985 par la caisse-maladie Mutuelle Valaisanne ainsi que la Banque Cantonale du Valais et la Caisse d’Epargne du Valais, la Mutuelle Valaisanne de Prévoyance figure parmi les institutions de prévoyance professionnelle les plus attractives présentes en Valais. Les derniers chiffres publiés au 31.07.2015 témoignent de cette performance. Administrée par le Groupe Mutuel, la Mutuelle Valaisanne de Prévoyance représente 30 ans d’expérience et de savoir-faire dans le domaine de la prévoyance professionnelle. Présidée par Madame Karin Perraudin, la célébration de cet anniversaire s’est tenue aujourd’hui à Martigny en présence de nombreux clients et partenaires fidèles ainsi que de représentants du monde politique et associatif.

Aujourd’hui a été posée, à Sion, la première pierre du nouveau centre de services du Groupe Mutuel. La manifestation s’est tenue en présence du Conseiller d’Etat, Monsieur Jean-Michel Cina, du Président de Sion, Monsieur Marcel Maurer, de représentants valaisans aux chambres fédérales ainsi que de membres des autorités politiques cantonales et communales et du monde économique. Etaient présents également, les architectes responsables du projet, Messieurs Pascal Varone et Michel Voillat. La délégation du Groupe Mutuel était emmenée par Madame Karin Perraudin, présidente du Comité et Monsieur Paul Rabaglia, directeur général.

Le Groupe Mutuel salue l’aboutissement de la nouvelle convention santésuisse sur le démarchage des clients. La nouvelle convention des assureurs-maladie qui entre en vigueur le 01.01.2016 protégera mieux les consommateurs et assurera une meilleure qualité dans ce domaine. Le Groupe Mutuel signera cette convention aussi tôt que possible, mais a d’ores et déjà mis en oeuvre les nouvelles règles de qualité du démarchage téléphonique de manière autonome.

L’annonce faite aujourd’hui par la FINMA d’interdire au Groupe Mutuel l’acquisition de portefeuilles d’assurés complémentaires ne concerne qu’une reprise via une fusion ou une acquisition de sociétés. Le réseau de vente, agents et courtiers, continueront à proposer de telles assurances à tous les assurés individuels intéressés par de tels contrats.

La procédure d’enforcement ouverte par l’Autorité de surveillance des marchés financiers (FINMA) en mars 2014 à l’encontre de trois sociétés membres du Groupe Mutuel est close. Les primes perçues, supérieures aux tarifs approuvés, ont été remboursées. Suite à cette procédure, la gouvernance, le système de contrôle interne et la gestion des risques ont été renforcés. Les mesures mises en place ainsi que les corrections n’ont lésé aucun assuré et n’ont aucunement affecté la solidité financière de l’entreprise qui est très bonne. Le Groupe Mutuel est ainsi prêt pour entrer dans une nouvelle ère.

Le Groupe Mutuel étend son offre aux produits responsabilité civile privée et inventaire de ménage en partenariat avec la Vaudoise Assurances. Cette démarche s’inscrit dans la poursuite d’une stratégie de diversification des activités d’assurance et qui complète le domaine de la prévoyance professionnelle et privée ainsi que celui des assurances de protection juridique.

En 2014, les résultats d’entreprise du Groupe Mutuel, association d’assureurs, affichent un bilan positif et réjouissant. Cela vaut aussi bien pour le domaine Santé que pour les autres activités d’assurances, la prévoyance professionnelle et l’assurance-vie. Le résultat d’ensemble du secteur Santé est de 125,9 millions de francs. Les frais généraux s’établissent à 4% des cotisations brutes alors que le contrôle des factures a permis une économie de 404 millions de francs. Le total des fonds propres LAMal s’établit à 545,1 millions de francs, soit 13,8% des primes nettes (14,5% en 2013).

Die SUPRA wird ihre Ausrichtung und ihren Standort im Waadtland beibehalten. Die Vereinbarung betrifft nur die obligatorische Krankenpflegeversicherung (OKP). Mit 78'000 Neuversicherten beträgt der OKP-Bestand nun 1,24 Millionen Personen.

En effet, grâce aux compétences et au réseau du Groupe Mutuel, les entreprises clientes peuvent profiter de séminaires et de la formation continue intra muros dans les domaines de la gestion des absences et de la santé (CorporateCare), du droit du travail ou du droit des assurances. Un exemple concret de cet engagement en faveur des entreprises en était le séminaire du 30 mars dernier à Fribourg sur les conséquences et pièges des absences et incapacités de travail pour l’employeur.
