The best basic health insurance is the one that meets your needs and costs you the least. Find out more about the various options available to you and how to adapt your contract.
At Groupe Mutuel, we offer four alternative basic insurance models.
Unlike the standard model that enables you to see your preferred healthcare professional, these models will direct you to a number of predefined first points of contact. This solution, tailored to your needs, will help you reduce your premiums.
By choosing the model that best suits your lifestyle, you are able not only to make savings, but also to benefit from customised support throughout your health journey.
Feel free to explore these options and select the one that suits you best to take full advantage of the benefits!

Transfer from one insurer to the other
Groupe Mutuel is made up of several health insurance providers, each of which operates independently, with its own cost structure. This means that each health insurer sets its own premium rates, which may change from one year to another.
Depending on your situation, a change of health insurer within Groupe Mutuel, effective 1 January 2025, could therefore help you save money. This change will have not affect your insurance coverage, usual service, or benefits.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information. You can also make the change directly via your Customer Area.

Help with payment for premiums for basic insurance (subsidies)
Sometimes your health insurance premiums may place a heavy burden on your household budget. In this case, your canton of residence may provide financial support.
Avoid the risk of double insurance
Are you returning to work or starting out in your professional life? If you work for your employer for more than eight hours per week, your employer must provide insurance coverage for you for occupational and non-occupational accidents. In this case, remember to exclude your accident cover from your compulsory basic insurance.
