Global classic combines hospital cover with supplemental care. Its benefits are the perfect complement to your basic insurance, at an attractive price. You can define your cover according to your needs: the basic module can be supplemented with the “Plus” option, which includes alternative medicine and various prevention measures.

You can benefit from a particularly attractive monthly premium for your child if the following conditions are met:

One of the parents has:

compulsory health insurance with a Groupe Mutuel member health insurer;
Global classic supplemental insurance with Groupe Mutuel.

Your child has:

compulsory health insurance with a Groupe Mutuel member health insurer and lives at the parent’s home.

Frequently asked questions

Can I be admitted to a clinic?

If you only have basic insurance, you can be admitted to a clinic providing you stay in a general ward and that the clinic is listed by your canton of residence (Art. 41, para. 1bis LAMal/KVG).
If not, you must have supplemental insurance to cover the costs of a semi-private or private room.

Where can I go for a cure?

Before any cure, your doctor must send us a request for coverage, mentioning the name of the spa facilities so that we may check whether they are recognised.
