You must expect a further period of one week before you receive the refund statement. If you have an account in our Customer Area, your refund statement will be made available to you more quickly.
Yes. Computerised payments are processed at the end of every week. The corresponding amounts reach the bank or postal account of the insured person a few days later. The statements are placed in an envelope at the beginning of the week and sent by second class mail to limit administrative costs. It is therefore normal that refund statements reach insured persons later.
Compulsory health insurance: the limitation period for your right to be reimbursed is five years.
Supplemental insurance: the limitation period for your right to be reimbursed has been extended from two to five years, as from 1 January 2022.
This period also applies to claims that have arisen before 1 January 2022, provided that they are not yet time-barred on that date.
